A free resource and information service for the people and families of Deloitte Australia.

It's easy to have work-life-balance policies. But we all have to admit it - sometimes, it's just hard putting it into practice.

What is the Work/Life Links program?


Work/Life Links is a free resource and information service available to ALL Deloittians and their families. This service is provided by Families At Work - an independent consulting firm.

What sort of information does the service provide?


Each and every one of us have different needs at any point in time - and the Work/Life Links program recognises that. The service can answer any of your questions ranging from assistance in locating childcare and eldercare facilities, removalists, yoga practitioners, weight loss programs, relaxation therapies, domestic help, school holiday programs - or even pet care service information you might need.

What makes Work/Life Links useful?


Work/Life Links consultants will provide you with individualised service and the best solutions for your particular inquiry.

You will not have to rely on pager services - consultants are available during regular working hours, and work extended hours to address requests for information that you may need urgently.

How can I make use of this service?


Telephone - a 24 hour* national toll-free number, (1800) 631 024. TTY is also available for those who have difficulty hearing.

e-mail - Deloittians can also contact Work/Life Links consultants by e-mail, links@familiesatwork.com.

Turn around time


Urgent inquiries are dealt with as soon as the Work/Life Links consultants receive them, with information provided to you on the same day as initial contact.

All other enquiries will be dealt with within eight days from the initial contact. Work/Life Links average turnaround time for all inquiries in 2000, regardless of type was 4.5 working days.

* Work/Life Links consultants are available from 8am until 6pm eastern standard time, Monday to Friday. All phone calls during these hours are answered personally, a paging service is not used. Outside these hours we provide a voice mail service that is checked regularly.
